There are two basic reasons for the delamination of the inner and outer layers and the loosening of the outer layers.

(1) Excessive pre-deformation of wire rope in production. Production, which is formed by the outer strands wire rope length of spiral line or inherent spiral line length or the radius of curvature radius of curvature over and exposure, cannot be detected when the wire rope to use force, the diameter of the rope that inner and outer rope will decrease, its outer spiral length will decrease, and because the wire rope itself exists excessive deformation during production, so after wire rope is used, The outer strand will grow out of part of the extension, causing the phenomenon of inner and outer layer rope layering and loosening of the outer strand, especially 18 × 7, 34 × 7, 18 ×19 and other inner strands for the hemp core multilayer wire rope, if the diameter of the rope core is small, the supporting force of the rope core is not enough, it is easy to appear this quality problem. In the process of use, it is easy to cause the rope breaking accident caused by the uneven force of the inner and outer layers of the rope.

(2) multi-layer wire rope in use, due to improper operation, cause the new wire rope loose twist or tight twist (broken strength or strength), resulting in the inner and outer layer of rope layering and loose outer layer. Multiple strands wire rope inside and outside layer lay on the contrary, when the new wire rope because of external forces to make its breaking strength, inner lining for, as I want the outer strands for breaking strength, make the outer strands twist Angle decreases, and the inner layer of twist Angle increases, so that the outer strands of variable length, inner shortened, and the outer strands of variable-length part when use cannot release and stay within the steel wire rope, When the wire rope is repeatedly bent on the pulley drum, it will cause the inner and outer layers of the rope to be layered and the outer strands to loosen.
